*For those attending the AHA convention in Washington, DC next month, *here
are two sessions that may be of particular interest. Both are on Saturday
morning, January 6 at the main convention hotel, the Marriott Wardman Park.

*8:30-10:00: *Roundtable:* "A Fateful Misunderstanding: A Discussion of the
Film Documentary The Vietnam War by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick* (Roosevelt
Room 2, Exhibition Level).Participants include Michael Kazin, Chris Appy,
Mark Philip Bradley, Heather Marie Stur, and Carolyn Eisenberg.

*10:30-12:00: *Historians for Peace and Democracy (H-PAD) roundtable: *"What
Should Historians Do in a Time of Crisis?"*
(Roosevelt Room 4, Exhibition Level). H-PAD's past and future will be part
of the discussion.
