1. Peace Action New York State has organized an on-line "Twitter town hall"
with scholars responding to questions on US Korea policy from the Korean
War to the present, November 11 from 2 to 3pm Eastern time. Anyone can sign
on (at #KoreaTownHall) and post a question. Historians for Peace and
Democracy (H-PAD) is co-sponsoring the event..

2. Van Gosse, a co-chair of H-PAD, says that the 24-minute film on the
centenary of the Balfour Declaration <https://youtu.be/a2Y3Pllutjo> made by
Independent Jewish Voices has been highly recommended by scholars in the US
and UK who work on issues related to Palestine.
