Congressional Alert:

Candidate Biden has promised to rejoin the Iran nuclear deal (JCPOA Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action)  but domestic opponents of the agreement are already mobilizing to prevent this. Meanwhile American imposed sanctions have added to the humanitarian crisis, during a time of pandemic.

Congressional supporters of the Iran deal are circulating a letter to President-elect Biden urging him to rapidly re-join the pact and resume diplomacy on other contested issues.
