U.S. sanctions against Cuba have been in place since 1962, while as of 2019, U.S. sanctions against Venezuela have killed over 40,000 people. The consequences of these policies for women and Black people will be emphasized. Panelists will explore how revolutionary feminists are building small- and large-scale economic alternatives, from workers’ councils to communes. <br>
